An audio producer’s role is to create and deliver a radio show or podcast that technically and editorially meets the listener's expectations.

The audio producer oversees the smooth running of the show, confirms equipment functionality, and monitors the quality and relevance of the show. They consider the audience’s interests and preferences and make sure the show is engaging and appropriate. All will get listeners to come back for more!

Lighting for Film & Studio Workshop

This 2-day workshop covers the fundamentals of lighting design and technology. The first class includes an overview of lighting fixture types, followed by an intro to the basics of color temperature and DMX. Learn about the different types of light, their attributes, and the various sources of light available for different applications.

In the second workshop, students delve deeper into lighting design concepts, covering topics such as contrast and style. Explore lighting people, including techniques for illuminating faces and bodies in different contexts. In addition, students learn about lighting in a studio setting.

The instructor is a professional Lighting Designer and Gaffer with over 35 years of experience in the theatre, film, and television industry. He has worked on a variety of projects, including feature films, television, musicals, and commercials. He is passionate about teaching others about the art and craft of lighting. This is a comprehensive introduction to lighting design and technology, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to create effective and visually compelling lighting designs.
